Terms and Conditions
50% Deposit is required to book and hold the date.
PianoFactor accept the following forms of payment: Bank transfer, Debit card, Credit card, Cheque, Cash and PayPal. We also offer a payment plan where the terms slightly differ - See here
Once Deposit payment has been received and acknowledged, the booking is confirmed and PianoFactor will be bound to the chosen date and venue.
If the client cancels for any reason, the deposit is non-refundable.
If a date change is required then PianoFactor will accommodate subject to availability.
If in the unlikely event that a band member is unable to perform for any reason, PianoFactor shall use all reasonable endeavours to find a suitable replacement.
if in the unlikely event that due to negligence PianoFactor are unable perform then all payments made thus far (including the deposit) will be refunded in full.
If the band are involved in a road traffic accident on the way to the event, we will make all reasonable endeavours to contact the client to discuss the outcome.
The balance is due 3 business days before the day of the performance.
In the event of cleared funds not been received 3 business days before the event, PianoFactor reserve the right to refuse to perform and in such circumstances the Client would remain liable for PianoFactor's fees and expenses in full.
The Client must allow PianoFactor a minimum timeframe of 2 hours to set up, and carry out a sound check for the show. The Client acknowledges that not allowing the allocated time could prevent the show from commencing and in such circumstances the Client would remain liable for PianoFactor's fees and expenses in respect of such show.
The Client shall procure that free parking for 24 hours around each performance is provided for 2 vehicles at the venue. If parking is not provided, the client will be liable for any parking fees, charges or fines and will be invoiced, remittance will be due within 14 days
The Client must ensure that
- (i) a temporary parking area or loading bay is provided at the venue in order for PianoFactor to unload equipment; and
- (ii) lift access is available if the venue is not on the ground floor.
PianoFactor reserves the right to refuse to setup the show if it considers the access dangerous/unsafe/impassable or if there is a risk of injury to the PianoFactor crew or to anybody else present.
The Client agrees to provide (at no cost to PianoFactor), an evening meal and soft drinks to all band members. The client has the right to choose the evening meal for the band (Normally the same food as the function catering). The client will be given notice of any dietary requirements beforehand.
Travel expenses of 50p per mile round trip from SG54FQ and any additional costs, i.e Ferry, Euro-tunnel, flights, congestion charge and tolls, will be charged to the client.
The Client agrees to provide (at no cost to PianoFactor), Accommodation for all band members if the round trip from SG54FQ is greater than 100 miles.
PianoFactor will be responsible for damages incurred to their equipment unless:
- i) It is damaged by the venue staff, its employees or subcontractors.
In which case the venue will be liable
- ii) It is damaged by any of the guests.
In which case the Client will be liable
- iii) It is damaged by delivery or service companies bringing goods into the venue.
In which case the delivery/service company will be liable.
- iv) It is damaged by the catering team.
In which case the Catering team will be liable.
Any equipment damaged will need to be either repaired or replaced (if repair costs exceed replacement or item(s) is unrepairable) and costs to be remitted by the relevant party within 14 days of receiving the damage report.
